The iPhone is a great ebook reader – perhaps even better than a stand-alone Kindle reader – because it supports many different ebook applications, so millions of ebooks are at your fingertips. Can you read Kindle books on iPhone?

If you want to read Kindle books on an iPhone, you’ll need to buy them and install them on your iPhone first. This is not as easy as it may seem, because you cannot buy books using the iPhone Kindle application and even the Amazon application.

Instead, you need to buy Kindle books in a web browser. You can do it in a browser on your computer or in the Safari application on iPhone. It doesn’t matter where you buy the book because it will be available on every Kindle application and device that is logged in to the Amazon account you used to buy the book.

How to buy and download Kindle books on an iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Safari application and go to Amazon.com.
  2. Log in to your Amazon account if you are not logged in yet.
  3. Tap the triple bar at the top of the screen.
  4. Select Buy by department.
  5. Tap Kindle.
  6. Select Kindle Books from the drop-down list.
  7. Search and select the Kindle eBook you want to buy.
  8. Tap Buy now with one click.

And it’s bought! It will automatically appear in the Amazon Kindle and Kindle Reader libraries.

On a Kindle or Kindle Reader on an iPhone or iPad, touch a book you bought to download it to your device.

Read Kindle books on iPad / iPhone using any eBook Converter

In Method 2, we will use the most popular eBook tool – Any eBook Converter to remove DRM from Kindle books and convert the books to a format fully supported by iBook. In this way, we are able to read Kindle books on an iPad / iPhone without the Kindle application on Apple devices. Before we start, please have Any eBook Converter correctly installed on your computer.

Step 3. Click “Convert to EPUB” to start the conversion

Click the “Convert to EPUB” button to start converting Kindle books to EPUB format. After the conversion is completed, the program will display successful status.
